We’ve checked all the drivers for the past few months, and it seems to have appeared somewhere in February. You can test this yourself by opening the NVIDIA Control Panel and unchecking this box in 3D Settings. pic.twitter.com/GKgTsNYHzJ

Lewis claims that his sources have confirmed the next Counter-Strike game is indeed set to release soon. The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive sequel has apparently been in development for quite some time and is likely to launch under the working title Counter-Strike 2. The beta of the game is expected to launch later this month or on April 1. Counter-Strike 2 is said to be a priority for Valve, which explains why some of the issues with the CS have been ignored for some time now. “The big priority is to get it out there and then polish it, fix any bugs and get it up to the level that people have come to expect from CS,” says Lewis’ source.
Counter-Strike 2 is expected to be built on the Source 2 engine to provide better optimization and graphics for the game. This will affect the performance the most for players who have low-end PCs, which is a stark contrast to previous titles that can run very well even on low-end machines. Official Counter-Strike 2 servers will be 128 ticks, bringing the game in line with Valorant servers. Apart from these, the game is also said to use an improved match-making system which will be introduced months after launch. Most likely, the Counter-Strike 2 beta will launch with a matchmaking system similar to CS:GO. Counter-Strike 2 has apparently been set to launch for some time and has even been secretly tested by pro players at Valve HQ in Seattle. That being said, since none of these details have yet been confirmed by Valve, they should be taken with a grain of salt.
