When will POCO F5 5G be launched in India?
According to our sources, the POCO F5 5G launch date could be April 6. The company is yet to confirm this date, so you can take it with a pinch of salt. That said, it looks like POCO is unveiling the phone in the first week of April.
POCO F5 5G may have the same price as its predecessor
There is no indication of the price of the upcoming mid-range smartphone POCO F5 5G in India. However, considering the hardware specifications and the huge competition, POCO will be pricing it at par with its rivals. For reference, the POCO F4 5G, its predecessor was launched in India for Rs 27,999.
Possible specifications of POCO F5 5G
POCO F5 5G will reportedly be its rebranded version Redmi Note 12 Turbo is expected to launch in China soon. The POCO F5 5G is expected to feature a 6.67-inch QHD+ AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,400 nits of brightness, HDR10+ support, and 1,920Hz PWM dimming.
Now, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo is confirmed to be powered by the brand-new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset. This means that the same chipset can be found in POCO F5 as well. You can also expect up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage on the POCO F5. The device can be expected to run on the latest Android 13 mobile OS with skin on top.
A triple camera system is likely to be present at the back and it is expected to house a 50MP primary shooter and 8MP and 2MP secondary shooters. This camera system will be accompanied by an LED flash. Upfront, the POCO F5 5G is expected to get a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls. POCO F5 5G can juice up a 5,500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging and 30W wireless fast charging.
