The Vivo brand has been creating waves in the tech industry with smartphones that offer innovative features and cutting-edge technology. Vivo has recently launched several exciting smartphones that have caught the attention of tech enthusiasts around the world. Some of the recent Vivo V series models come with exciting features like colour-changing Fluorite AG glass panel, rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and more.
Talking about the latest smartphone from the brand, the Vivo V27 is an aesthetically pleasing smartphone and packs powerful hardware, which offers some significant upgrades over last year’s Vivo V25. The smartphone has been redesigned from the inside out. Let us find out what makes this smartphone special.
3D curved 120Hz display with sleek aesthetics
Notably, the Vivo V27 is the first non-Pro variant in the ‘V’ series to feature a curved display and comes with 60-degree screen curvature that allows for an immersive viewing experience. The 3D curved display is simply stunning to look at with a massive 6.78-inch AMOLED display that has a refresh rate of 120Hz and supports 1 billion colors. Despite having such a large display, the phone is light in weight at just 180 grams and 7.36 mm thick. With its curved display and Aura LED Ring, which is a ring-shaped light source, the handset stands out from other handsets in this price range. On top of this, the minimalistic circular cut-out for the selfie camera ensures that the phone offers an all-view experience that is often compromised on phones with a notch. All these factors together give the Vivo V27 a distinctly premium look. Just one look at the phone and you will want to hold it in your hands, which is a great complement to its stunning looks.
Talking about the design, the Vivo V27 comes with a glass-sandwich design, which has a unique feature at the back. The Magic Blue color changes from light to dark when exposed to sunlight. If you don’t like blue, you can also go for noble black, which twinkles like the stars in the night sky.
Professional Night Portrait System – Capture low light moments and portraits like never before
Vivo V27 comes with triple rear camera setup. Out of that, the 50MP primary sensor is the Sony IMX766V with OIS, which provides an incredible amount of detail for your photos and tremendous stability while shooting videos. Also, the flashlight is not a regular one, it is the Aura system which is more powerful, and works in portrait mode as well. You can keep Aura Flash always on, or even set it as a regular flashlight. The handset offers a professional portrait system to enable you to click mesmerizing pictures even in low light and night conditions. With Night Portrait and Aura LED Ring, you’ll be able to capture studio-like portraits with the highly capable Sony IMX766V sensor. With the brand’s suite of night algorithms, you’ll be able to take grain-free shots even at night, which is unheard of in this price range. If you have ever missed important night party moments earlier because your phone only managed to click blurry shots, then you can say goodbye to this issue as with Vivo V27, it will be a thing of the past.
The V27 series also comes with a built-in wedding style portrait mode, which is an India-exclusive feature and makes images stand out as if they were shot with a professional camera. This is really useful for photo shoots at weddings, as it makes your photos more eye-catching and social media-ready than ever.
Apart from the primary sensor, you also get an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lens. Extreme Night Mode makes pictures taken at night really bright with less noise. In terms of videos, you get hybrid OIS+EIS stabilization with the ability to record up to 4K resolution at 60fps from both the front and rear cameras. One of the important features of this smartphone is its selfie camera. We are talking about a 50MP sensor with HD Eye autofocus, which lets you click sharp and detailed selfies. For those of you who love clicking selfies, this is one of the best options you can find in the market at the moment.
MediaTek Dimensity 7200 – The performance powerhouse with unmatched efficiency
The Vivo V27 is the first phone in India to run the MediaTek Dimensity 7200, which is a marked improvement over the MediaTek Dimensity 900 used in the Vivo V25 last year. Not only is it clocked at a whopping 2.8Ghz with its powerful cores, but it is also more power efficient due to the 4nm process used in manufacturing this chipset. This enables the handset to deliver solid performance as well as provide a long battery backup.
In terms of RAM, you get up to 12GB of RAM, and you can expand further up to 20GB using the Expandable RAM 3.0 feature. According to Vivo, you can run up to 27 applications at once, without the fear of any app booting up due to low memory. The V27 comes with a dedicated Game Boost mode, which pushes the SoC to the limits to deliver maximum frames in demanding games like Call of Duty and Genshin Impact.
Battery and Charging – No Waste of Time!
Vivo V27 packs a 4600mAh battery and 66W FlashCharge technology. The charger is obviously included in the box, so you won’t have to spend extra on a charger. You can charge from 0 to 50 percent in just 19 minutes. With the large battery capacity and fast-charging technology support, you will neither have to be tied to the phone for long hours nor will you have to search for your charger after a short period of use.
