Netflix has said it has 126 games in development, with 40 games due for release in 2023. Around 70 titles are being developed across its partners and 16 games are in development at its in-house studios. The company stated, “Our goal is to develop a broad portfolio of games – across a variety of genres and formats – because we believe that everyone can find enjoyment in games if they discover one (or many!) that’s right for them. This year we’ll continue to build our portfolio — and that means new games every month. Members will discover indie darlings, award-winning hits, RPGs, narrative adventures, puzzle games, and everything in between, and We’re working with the world’s leading studios to bring you these games.
Monument Valley 1 and Monument Valley 2 from developer ustwo will be coming to Netflix in 2024. Vainglory and Catalyst Black developer Super Evil Megacorp is also working with Netflix to develop a game based on the upcoming movie or TV show. Apart from these, Netflix has given details of some games which will be coming out soon. Terra Nil will launch on March 28 and Mighty Quest Rogue Palace is launching on April 18. While Terra Nil is a cool city-builder, Mighty Quest Rogue Palace is a Roguelite dungeon crawler set in the Mighty Quest for Epic Loot universe.
